Originally from County Down, Ireland, Dr Sherry trained at the University of Glasgow, one of the UK's most respected institutions for dental education. After graduating, he completed vocational training in Glasgow before serving as a Senior House Officer for the NHS in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
That NHS role gave him real depth across specialist referral centres — geriatric and paediatric dentistry, special needs care for adults and children, conscious sedation, and general anaesthetic cases. He also spent six months as SHO in a consultant-led endodontic referral clinic, a period that sharpened his skills in complex root canal treatment considerably.
Before joining Smile Solutions, Dr Sherry spent three years as an associate in general practice, working across the full range of everyday dental care.
