About Dr Jaclyn Wong

Dr Jaclyn Wong brings both medical and dental degrees from the University of Melbourne to her practice at Smile Solutions, Melbourne. Her training path took her through three years with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, working across general and specialty surgery disciplines. During this time, she developed a particular interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery, especially orthognathic and trauma surgery.

After completing a post-graduate diploma in Surgical Anatomy, Jaclyn returned to Melbourne University for her dental degree, graduating with Honours in Dentistry. She then spent six years as a registrar in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Dental Hospital and Austin Hospital.

Jaclyn's research analysed the All-on-4 implant surgery technique, with a specific focus on the functional and clinical outcomes of zygomatic implants as part of the All-on-4 system. She trained with international experts in this field, including travelling to Portugal to learn directly from the inventor of the system at a leading international clinic. Dr Wong worked as part of the surgical team at a specialist implant clinic, one of the first of its kind to open in Australia. She has now been performing All-on-4® surgery for over 15 years.

At Smile Solutions, Dr Jaclyn Wong focuses her practice on oral surgery, providing personalised treatment across a range of procedures. These include complex extractions (including wisdom teeth), single and full arch implant procedures such as All-on-4™, and advanced grafting techniques for gum recession defects and bone defects using platelet rich fibrin (PRF). She also performs pre-prosthetic and pre-orthodontic surgeries.

Dr Wong is recognised by the Australasian Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics (AADFA) as a mentor in anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, thread lifting, carboxytherapy, fat dissolving treatments and PRF facial rejuvenation.

Outside the clinic, Jaclyn is a keen skier who enjoys fine food and wine, weightlifting, CrossFit and hiking. She loves spending time with her two American Akitas, Hachi and Mika.
