## Meet Dr Andrea Phatouros

Dr Andrea Phatouros is a registered Specialist Orthodontist whose career spans more than three decades of clinical practice and academic contribution. It's a combination that's genuinely uncommon, and it shows in how she works with patients.

Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 1991, then spent several years in private dental practice before stepping into an academic role, leading the first-year dental program for undergraduate students at UWA. In 1994, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS).

She completed her specialist orthodontic training at UWA in 2005, graduating with the Postgraduate Clinical Award for Excellence in Clinical Presentation. From there, she built her specialist private practice in Perth while continuing to teach in both the undergraduate dental program and the postgraduate orthodontic program at UWA.
