Biography

Dr Nupur Kataria is a qualified Specialist Periodontist whose academic foundation was built entirely at the University of Adelaide — one of Australia's most respected dental schools and home to a highly regarded postgraduate periodontics programme.

Dr Kataria commenced her dental career by completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Adelaide, before returning to pursue her specialist training through a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology — the highest level of clinical specialist qualification in periodontics. This advanced qualification equips her with a deep and evidence-based understanding of the biology, pathology and treatment of the structures that support the teeth: the gums, the alveolar bone and the periodontal ligament.
