About Mr Ricky Kumar

Mr Ricky Kumar is a registered Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Smile Solutions, qualified with degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry.

He received several awards during his studies including the University of Otago's most outstanding student during his dental degree, as well as the F.G. Christensen Medal for Part I exams during his surgical training.

He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical training in Adelaide, from where he passed Part II exams with RACDS and was awarded the FRACDS (OMS) fellowship.

He then undertook a further 12 months of sub-specialty training in paediatric maxillofacial surgery and corrective jaw surgery as a fellowship at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
